Viniyoga uses physical movement (asana), breathing techniques (pranayama), meditation, and even chanting and mantra to promote well-being and personal transformation at every level.

In viniyoga, the yoga practice given is highly specialized to the individual, and appropriate for the student's current health, emotional, mental and physical state, and circumstance. Viniyoga is the appropriate application of yoga tools to teach useful, meaningful skills that relate to the student's current life.

Using a wide range of yoga techniques, this all-levels class provides a multi-dimensional practice which gives students stability in body, breath and mind, and an abiding sense of peace that they can carry into their lives to improve their outlook, behaviors and relationships.

This class is suitable for adults at most levels of fitness. Beginners are encouraged to arrange a private lesson before attending their first class.

A calming, gentle restorative yoga practice for tired bodies and overworked minds, and the perfect antidote to a busy life.

Restore combines the supported yoga postures of restorative yoga, using blocks, bolsters, blankets and other supportive props so that your body can completely rest, relax and begin to renew. The restorative postures are combined with soothing breathing practices and yoga nidra meditation to support healing at every level of your system.

This class is an excellent choice for students with chronic tension and stress-related illness, and it is appropriate for all levels of fitness and experience.

Due to the number of props used in restorative yoga, an additional fee for equipment rental or purchase will be required if you do not currently own the following: yoga blanket, 2 10-foot yoga straps, 2 4-inch yoga blocks, rectangular yoga bolster, standard folding chair.


Classes are offered in 6-Week Sessions for October-November 2016. You may sign up for all 6 weeks at a considerable savings, or you may attend as a drop in student and pay by class.

Sign Up: $50 for 6 Weeks (one class each week)

Drop in to a single class: $12 for Viniyoga, $16 for Restore

For Restore only: Additional $25 to rent equipment for the duration of the 6-week class. Fee includes rental or purchase of the following:

  • 1 yoga blanket
  • 2 10-foot yoga straps
  • 2 4-inch yoga blocks
  • 1 rectangular yoga bolster

You may also choose to purchase the listed equipment from Zoe for $80, or obtain through other sources.
