Pañcamaya-ślokaḥ

“This chant was composed by TKV Desikachar, with inspiration from the second and third chapters of the Taittirīya-upaniṣat. It explores the layers of the human system and is presented in the form of a conversation between a child and the mother. The mother enlightens the child in a progressive and simple manner on the holistic nature of the human system. The child is gradually guided to comprehend the indestructible consciousness that exists within.”
